State Laws vs. Federal Laws

Today is the day that Charles Lynch is scheduled for sentencing. Mr. lynch was a Medical Marijuana Dispensary owner in a state that allows this type of establishment by State law. California has allowed Medical Marijuana since 1996.
Charles Lynch was not arrested by State law Enforcement but by the Federal Agency, The Drug Enforcement Agency. During the bush administration there was a lot of debate about the Federal raids on Medical Marijuana establishments in California since the Federal law still shows Marijuana as a Schedule 1 drug. However, 13 States have laws that allow Doctors to recommend the use of Marijuana for Medical purposes.
Obama announced during his campaign that Federal Law would not disregard State laws anymore. The New Drug Czar stated that the DEA raids in California would stop. This posponed the sentencing of Charles Lynch to give the Judge time to get clarification on the statements by the current administration.
Good Luck Charles, you were providing a service that was welcomed into the community and ran a great business, hopefully the court will see this.

VA Medical

I have been dealing with the Government Medical Community for over 15 years now. While I was Active duty military the attitude towards me was give him some pills and let him get back to work. After hearing a doctor say, "Holy shit, I have seen 70 year olds with better looking Back MRI's." and, "if your back keeps going like this you will be in a wheel chair before you are 40." The US Military decided that I was never going to be fit for duty again. With this they decided to discharge me for Medical Reasons. I was labled disabled.
In 2002 I started my civilian life again. However, I realized the disability check would never come because I needed to file a claim with the Veterans Administration.
After a couple of lost paperwork, and a lot of assistance from the Disabled American Veterans, I received my Disability Rating from the VA in 2008. Yes, 6 years later!!! The good news was the did say I was Service Connected Disabled. The bad news... They rated me at 0%. Of course the first thing I said was, "Give me my Uniform back!!!"

First Post

I have tried many blogs in the past and have never found a niche for me. I have always wanted a blog and always wanted to make it interesting enough for me to continue the blogging effort.
I have had many blogs in the past from Information Technology Blogs to Medical Marijuana Blogs to just Family information blogs. They have all bored me, if it bores me then I understand fully why it would bore a reader.
I have also been a reader of many blogs and continue to read a lot of them on a daily basis. I sent an email to one of my favorite bloggers yesterday and he asked me if I would like to be a guest blogger. I have always enjoyed his site and visit Douggoff.com every day he posts. This got me to thinking, Maybe I should just start my own Daily Blog. Of course this blog will not be a Bitch and Complaint blog because I would much prefer to be a guest blogger for Doug and post those on his site so this Blog will be one thought each day. If it is something that makes me happy, sad, angry or laugh then I will post about it here. If I read someone elses blog and enjoy it I will Post about it here...
Thanks for the visit,
